I heard from someone in a different LUG that there is an AFOL day on December 10. I haven't gotten any email from LEGO about it, nor seen anything here. Has anyone else heard, or able to confirm?

I was at Pentagon City on Friday, and an employee asked if I was coming for it….The LTC has a show on that day, so most likely it’s a no. He also told me that the new manager a number of us encountered on the last AFOL Day in September is gone; Kim ( the Asian/Pacific Islander woman who was the assistant manager at Pentagon City) got promoted and is now the manager at Pentagon City. The employee was also lamenting that we, the AFOLs, almost never come to PC on AFOL Day.

Re: AFOL day - I am still not even getting the e-mail, never mind the sticker on my VIP account, so I am completely dependent on management discretion. Sometimes I get the discount, sometimes I don’t.

Tysons has insisted on seeing the email the last 2-3 times I've gone
for AAD, despite the note in the system and the digital card sticker.
I can cross international borders with less documentation, and no
suspicious looks. Whatever, just makes victory that much sweeter.
